My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were perfect for us - I particularly appreciated having a separate toilet to the bathroom in Room 32, it felt like being in a cozy nook. The room was amazing, comfortable, clean, and very spacious, with its own small terrace which was a lovely touch.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with a separate toilet to the bathroom which was a unique feature in Room 32. The small terrace added a nice touch to the room.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. The only thing that could have been better was the lack of offering a coffee or a glass of wine, which would have been a nice touch.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel provided fabulous views over Saumur, perfect for anyone seeking beautiful scenery. While some areas looked tired, the overall experience and views compensated for it. The table and chairs outside in need of a refresh were a minor downside, still, the views over the town were exceptional.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good with a splendid choice and nicely informal. However, the value for money didn't match up for a basic meal; a bit more could have been offered for the price. The Moroccan pancakes were a standout highlight.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities at the hotel were satisfactory. Everything was functional, but there was room for improvement in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms with a balcony looking over the chateau were perfect for us but could get very hot on sunny days if you forget to open the skylight. The separate toilet to the bathroom felt a bit cramped like being in a large cupboard in Room 32.

Service

The staff here are so friendly and helpful, and had their own tasks to ensure efficiency. However, they could improve by being more flexible and offering small gestures like a welcome drink or a simple coffee.
Location

The hotel is located in a quiet countryside setting great for peace and relaxation, though it felt a bit like a Crossroads Motel. The views were superb, though, offering a serene backdrop across the town.
Dining
6.0
The dining was good with a decent selection, but the prices were a bit high for what was offered. A few more reasonably priced options would have been appreciated.
Facilities

The facilities were satisfactory but nothing extraordinary. A few more added amenities could enhance the overall experience.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while simple and functional, had some drawbacks like being stuck down an alcove with no view and a steep staircase. The service was friendly overall, but there were delays in the restaurant. The location was great, although a bit confusing for some. The dining experience was mixed, with some good options but also some inedible food. The facilities were decent but could have been better.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though clean and comfortable, were a bit dark, and the layout with a steep staircase was not ideal. The staff was friendly and attentive, although there were some areas that could use improvement. The location offered fantastic views, but being a bit outside of town meant additional transportation was necessary. The dining options were overpriced, but the breakfast was good. Overall, a decent stay with some room for enhancement.

My stay at the duplex in Saumur was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The rooms, with their open plan living and dining areas along with a small kitchen, offered more space than a typical hotel room, but the lack of a view and the steep staircase to the sleeping area were drawbacks. The modernized and very clean accommodation had its positives and negatives, providing a comfortable yet slightly inconvenient living arrangement.

Rooms
7.0
I found the rooms to be modernized and very clean, offering more space than a standard hotel room. However, the location in an alcove with no view and the steep staircase to the sleeping area were a bit challenging.
Service
8.0
The service at the duplex was friendly and accommodating. The staff made an effort to address any deficiencies and were pleasant and helpful overall.
Location
9.0
The location of the duplex was superb, boasting fantastic views over Saumur and the Chateau on the hillside.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a bit overpriced, at 12€ for an assortment of pastries, cheese, yogurt, and coffee. Despite the price, the quality of the food was good, especially when taken outside on the terrace.
Facilities
8.0
The duplex offered a swimming pool and garden with a view down to the town and chateau, enhancing the overall experience. However, improvements in the restaurant service, particularly the head waiter, could elevate the guest experience further.
